There are 8 different widths to choose from. The 18 in. – 36 in. wide units are rated to hold up to 60 pounds, while the 42 in. – 72 in. wide units are rated to hold up to 120 pounds. All custom floating wall-mounted shelves are made out of commercial-grade heavy-duty stainless steel with a #4 brushed finish. These floating metal shelves feature a seamless design and come in a standard size of 2″ high by 10″ deep. It is recommended that the seamless floating shelves be mounted directly to wall studs or with a plywood backer if they are being hung from drywall.
