Edge profiles and integrations

Three edge profiles, built to your kitchen.

Every edge is formed on the press brake: eased (a slightly softened square edge, our standard), marine (a raised no-drip lip, then straight down the front), or flat bullnose (45 degrees down, straight down the face, 45 degrees back under). Edges are 1-1/2 inches tall as standard and can go up to 5 inches. An integrated backsplash is bent up from the same sheet, one piece with no weld. Integrated sinks are welded into stainless tops, and every metal takes a drop-in cutout or an undermount cutout with finished inside edges.

For commercial installations, our 304 stainless steel is food-safe. On-site measuring is available across the Chicago metro.

Common questions

Stainless tops are 14 gauge (0.075 inch) as standard, with 16 gauge (0.060 inch) and 1/4 inch plate also available. Zinc is 0.060 inch, and copper and brass are 0.050 inch. We note the gauge on your CAD drawing before fabrication.

Yes. Our 304 stainless steel is food-safe for kitchen counters.

Yes, in stainless steel. We weld the sink into the counter with a seamless bowl-to-deck transition. Zinc, copper, and brass tops take a drop-in sink cutout or an undermount cutout with finished inside edges.

We come to your space, document dimensions, photograph openings, and verify mounting substrates. On-site is Chicago metro only. For other locations we guide you through remote measurement.

All three are living metals that develop patina naturally with use. Zinc darkens fairly quickly with water and daily use. Copper and brass warm and darken more slowly. Each is refinishable by us if you want to reset the surface.
