Custom Metal Home fabricates range hoods in stainless steel, zinc, copper, brass, darkened steel, and powder-coated steel. Each material is available in multiple hand-finished surface treatments including brushed, mirror, hammered, patina (light, medium, dark), darkened, and weathered finishes to match any kitchen aesthetic.

Available mounting styles include wall-mount, island-mount, T-shape, mantle-style, under-cabinet, and ductless insert configurations. Range hood shells can also be fabricated to fit over virtually any third-party commercial ventilation liner or insert, such as those from Best, Broan, Vent-A-Hood, Zephyr, Faber, and Sirius.

Custom fabrication typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from order confirmation. Before fabrication begins, detailed computer drawings are provided for your approval. Once completed, the hood is crated for safe delivery and ships nationwide from Addison, IL.

All range hoods are made to order based on your exact kitchen dimensions. Common widths range from 30 inches to 60 inches and beyond, with fully custom width, height, and depth available. Oversized hoods of 60 inches and wider are a specialty. The standard depth is 25 inches, adjustable as needed.

Custom Metal Home fabricates decorative range hood shells and covers designed to house a third-party commercial ventilation liner or insert of your choice. The blower, CFM rating, and ducting are specified and sourced by your HVAC contractor or insert manufacturer. This approach lets you choose the best-performing insert for your cooking needs.
